We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how we handle your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your data when you use our Android application. By accessing or using NeuroFocus, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information such as your name and email address when you create an account. This information is used for authentication, personalization, customer support, and important service communications. We also collect your Device ID (such as Android ID) to operate our referral and promotional code system. This helps us prevent abuse by ensuring that promo codes and trials are used fairly and cannot be redeemed multiple times on the same device.
Promo codes are strictly single-use and expire within 10 minutes of issuance to maintain security and fairness.
3. Special Android Permissions
To deliver its core functionality, NeuroFocus requires certain system-level permissions.
PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS (App Usage Access)
This permission allows the app to detect which applications are currently running in the foreground. It is essential for tracking your focus sessions accurately and identifying when you open distracting apps during an active focus mode so that blocking can be triggered effectively. This data is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display Over Other Apps)
This permission enables NeuroFocus to draw overlays on top of other applications. It is used to display the Focus Blocking Screen when you attempt to open restricted apps and to show a convenient floating focus timer. Without this permission, the core app-blocking feature cannot function.
4. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to provide personalized focus experiences, manage your account, process subscriptions, improve app performance through analytics, and provide customer support. We may also use anonymized data to analyze overall usage trends and enhance the app's productivity features.
5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services including Firebase for authentication and analytics, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting, and Razorpay/Stripe for secure payment processing. These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements and only process data necessary for their respective functions.
6. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time (Right to be Forgotten). We fully support GDPR (Europe), CCPA/CPRA (California), and other applicable privacy rights.
7. Children's Privacy
NeuroFocus is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NeuroFocus mobile application developed by Ansh Chavhan of NexTech ARC. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the application.
2. Service Usage & Required Permissions
NeuroFocus provides advanced focus and app-blocking features. To enable these core functionalities, you must grant the following special Android permissions. These permissions are mandatory for the app to work as intended.
PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS
Required to detect foreground applications and accurately track focus sessions. You are responsible for granting this permission through your device settings.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW
Required to display blocking overlays and floating timers. Without this permission, the app cannot block distracting applications effectively.
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for granting these permissions and understand their purpose.
3. Subscriptions, Elite Plan & Promo Codes
The Elite Plan is a paid subscription service. All subscriptions are managed through Google Play. Promo codes are single-use only, valid for a maximum of 10 minutes after generation, and the 3-day Elite trial is a one-time offer strictly limited to one per device. Any attempt to circumvent these limitations may result in cancellation of benefits.
4. Fair Use of Referral System
Our referral system is designed for genuine users. Creating multiple accounts, using emulators, device farming, or any other method to exploit the referral program and obtain repeated 3-day Elite trials is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to invalidate rewards, suspend accounts, and take appropriate action against users who violate fair usage policies.
5. User Responsibilities
You are fully responsible for any consequences that arise from using the app's blocking features. This includes, but is not limited to, missing important calls, messages, notifications, or opportunities during focus sessions. NeuroFocus is a productivity tool meant to assist you; it does not replace your own judgment and responsibility.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in NeuroFocus, including the app name, design, code, features, graphics, and user interface, are owned exclusively by Ansh Chavhan and NexTech ARC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal purposes only. Any unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeuroFocus, Ansh Chavhan, and NexTech ARC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, opportunities, or any harm resulting from the use or inability to use the app — particularly issues related to app blocking, missed notifications, or focus mode interruptions.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to NeuroFocus at our sole discretion if you breach any of these terms, abuse the referral or subscription systems, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise misuse the service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sangli, Maharashtra.
